Discipleship is the lifelong process of believing in Jesus Christ and loving and following Him in obedience to his Word, the Bible. Matthew 28:18-20 explains it this way:
And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
This is who we desire to be as a church family. We want to be about the work of Christ in this world by baptizing and teaching disciples of Jesus. By no means have we figured it all out, and we have our share of problems along the way. But it is our desire and our pursuit as one body to know and love Jesus Christ.
